At the height of the COVID-19 public health emergency, Solvere Health was engaged to help run four onsite COVID testing sites for a major entertainment production company on its production lots. The client needed event oversight managers to help the production company keep employees safe and meet compliance requirements.
Solvere Health sent a team to take over the client’s four facilities and run operations that included thorough logistical planning (incorporating infection control protocols), testing delivery, and compliance oversight. Although we had developed a proven, effective, and efficient strategic approach specifically for group health events in response to a public emergency, the pandemic now presented an opportunity to innovate our methodology.
The linchpin of our evolved response to the client’s challenge was establishing a pivotal point person – the Super Event Oversight Administrator (Super EOAs) who served as the on-the-ground field operations expert. Our Super EOAs ensured that each site operated like a well-oiled machine, with event personnel executing their assigned duties and all the moving parts functioning as planned.
The client soon realized that the sites under Solvere Health’s management outperformed the others. In short, four sites became 50, with the client asking us to run their major contracted locations.
Our operational success had us authoring the standard for the logistical planning, recruiting, oversight provision, and management for COVID-19 group health events on a massive scale. The client adopted our methodology and implemented Super EOA role using Solvere Health’s professionals.
Further, this new standard is not only used by us and this particular client, but it is now also being applied by several of our other collaborative partners nationwide. For our own company, as a result of this experience, we have grown our internal team of Super EOAs to 50 topflight operations professionals who anchor every Group Health Event initiative in their assigned regions.
